• When is National History Day?

Companies

National History Day engages businesses and communities in the education process. Many businesses help to sponsor or supply volunteers for district and state contests. Some local businesses also showcase student projects in their lobbies and at company meetings.

Columbia Gas employees serve as volunteers for numerous National History Day events each year and, thereby, truly make a difference in children's lives. The volunteers love the experience and interaction with young people. Through National History Day, Columbia Gas invests in education, families, our heritage, and the overall quality of life in the community. We know that in business we need creative thinkers, team leaders and employees with organization and communication skills. The humanities in general and National History Day in particular teach these important skills.
